The attention of the Arewa Youth for Peaceful Coexistence have been drawn to a YouTube video on Social Media by Dan Anyanwu, Chairman of Zenith Party alleging threat to his life by the Hon. Minister of FCT, Chief Barr. Ezebuwon Nyesom Wike, CON, GSSRS.
A thorough review of the video clip reveals a very shallow and poorly scripted work of a amateur and political jobber seeking political attention by cleverly attempting to smear the high reputation and name of the FCT Minister.
We wish State categorically and unequivocally that the Hon. Minister of the FCT, Chief Barr. Ezebuwon Nyesom Wike nor the Director General of Nigeria Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA), Chief Engr. Emeka Woke knows nothing or is in any way associated with the concocted allegation of threat to life by Dan Anyanwu, and therefore challenge and request Dan Anyanwu to produce the person he said confronted and threatened him, produce the confession of the person that he was sent by the Hon. Minister of FCT and go ahead to prosecute the person in court without delay.
We can on good authority say that the antecedents, character and person of Dan Anyanwu in the Nigerian Political Space is very questionable right from when he Chaired the Labour Party and the circumstances surrounding his exit from the Labour Party to form his own Political Party, the Zenith Party.
Dan Anyanwu is an Abuja based Politician from the Eastern Part of Nigeria who hardly has made any positive contributions towards solving the social, ecological and political challenges of the East such as IPOB issues ravaging the East and the prevalent erosion and drainage challenges in East.
Yea We therefore strongly suspect Dan Anyanwu may have identified the Rivers Crisis as a means to revive his dieing political relevance and cash out point.
The Hon. Minister of the FCT, Chief Barr. Ezebuwon Nyesom Wike is a Very Prominent and Respected Son of Rivers State who is fully committed to the 2027 Presidential Ambition of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We therefore urge Dan Anyanwu to stay clear and desist from unnecessarily dragging the good name and reputation of the Hon. FCT Minister into his Political jobbing schemes to gain relevance in the Nigerian Political Space.
