Ambassador Sunday Attabor the convener of Oma Igala Night and the CEO of Óma Igala Voice express profound gratitude to all Igala sons and daughters who trooped out enmasse to grace this year’s edition of Oma Igala Night held in Abuja on the 13th of December 2020.
According to Ambassador Sunday Attabor ” It was a remarkable to note with extreme delight the unimaginable expression of patriotism and love for our land typified in the unprecedented turnout ever witnessed in Oma Igala Night programme, It is our prayer that you will scale up this fervor to a proportion of collective movement for the unity and progress of our people and land”.
Oma Igala Night as you all know is an annual advocacy convention put in place to aggregate Igala views and ideas on how best to position our stakes in the competitive development environment of the Nigerian nation.
The Organizer of Óma Igala Night tone the convention to emphasise of Igala cultural bearing, uphold the glories of the land’s achievement, display the virtues of it’s moral strength, recognise the worth of Igala elites, appreciate the accomplishments of Igala sons and daughters via conferment of awards, and appeal for a commitment to ventures that precipitate economic development.
To the glory of God, the signs are obvious that their stakes have started yielding expected results. This much we can confirm from the evolving Igala brotherhood registering in the deliberate affectionate responses to the needs of the weak ones living among us.
The Chairman of the event, Alhaji Aliyu Zakari Jiya galvanised the audience to raise enormous funds for Igala people bedevilled with life threatening medical challenges.
He applauded Oma Igala Voice for organising the event and urged her to sustain the initiatives with a view to maximising the gains of unity among Igala people.
The event also witnessed paper presentations on the way forward for exploiting mineral deposits in Igala land for her economic development.
The presentations particularly emphasised on the need for investors to pay attention to investment in coals and other related mineral deposits.
Finally, the Convener of the event express his gratitude to all Igala youths, traditional rulers, entertainment groups, and representatives of Igala associations in the USA and UK for their presence at the Oma Igala Night 2020 .
