The Former Kogi State Commissioner of Finance and Former Kogi State Governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP ) , Hon. Zakari Alfa felicitates with Christian faithful in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ , a man whose entire life is not only a lesson but a point of reference in the Christendom and indeed in the religion of Islam where he is adored and held respectfully constant as a Prophet of God. Although it’s scriptural that Jesus Christ demonstrated exemplary life style throughout his existence as it is on record that he preached love and peaceful coexistence among his disciples who today, by extension and by the virtue of the sustained evangelism are the adherents of the Christian faith, his dispositions were practically symbolic of peace.
However, Hon. Zakari Alfa noted that if the gospel of unity as evangelized by Jesus is adhered to the world will be a better place.
In his words ” We must continue to eschew discrimination along religious divide and unite as one indivisible race or entity and as a people bound by love with a collective belief in the Omnipotent as one God. Today marks a special day for the extension of love, learn to reach out to the less privileged , appreciate people around us and sustain the lessons from this glorious day.
