Kogi State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Chief (Dr.) Edward David Onoja was at his hometown of Odidoko-Emonyoku Open Space Unit 001 of Ogugu Ward III in Olamaboro LGA, to revalidate his membership with the All Progressives Congress in the Party’s ongoing national Registration and Revalidation Exercise.Speaking at the flag-off, Chief Onoja stated that the Exercise was in furtherance of revalidation of the commitments to the Party by His Excellencies, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR and Governor Yahaya Bello, who had recently set the ball rolling.
He said: “I’m particularly happy that my political Siamese twin brother and our Leader did not just flag-off this Exercise on behalf of Kogi State, but for the entire North Central Geopolitical Zone. Undoubtedly, the honour to serve as Chairman of the mobilization team was entrusted on him by our great Party due to his lofty strides in the State that keep attracting national and international recognition.”
Chief Onoja, before officially revalidating his membership, added that he was directed by his boss to jump-start the Exercise in the Eastern Region and charged all and sundry who seek for even better representation by governments across levels to come out en mass, and revalidate or register with Africa’s biggest political party.
Chief Onoja arrived the Eastern Senatorial district amidst a blissful reception from the Olamaboro LG Chairman and his Vice, Rep Member of Idah Federal Constituency, Deputy Speaker, KSHA, House of Assembly Members Representing Olamaboro, Dekina Biraidu, Ankpa II, Ofu and Omala State Constituencies, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry as well as his Youths and Sports counterpart, Zonal Caretaker Chairman of the party, Council Leaders, Ward Councilors, Youth and Women groups, Excos, National Committee Members for the Exercise, among other Party loyalists.
