I felt pained and totally disheartened when I visited Okobo Atte Primary Health Care Centre to access Malaria treatment while at home recently.
The public health care centre which rendered medical services to many neighbouring Communities such like Okpoku, Okobo Ogane, staff of Eta Zuma Coal Mining Company, Alufele, Ofano etc, has no any effective medical equipments to enable it perform its assigned responsibilities due to the negligence and poor handling on the side of the government. And majority of the sicked victims that usually access the Health Care Centre usually pay the health personnel to go and get the necessary drugs before administering treatment on them, instead of treating the patients before payment.
While the management of Eta Zuma 828 Coal Company that is doing its mining activities in the same community have not been able to assist the above health care centre with medical equipments, except the drugs they usually bring annually and is been shared between Enjema Primary health Care Centre and that of Okobo which they claimed to have cost five hundred thousands naira (500.000).
The Senior health official in the health care centre have written to the appropriate body on different occasion, but all his efforts fell abortive. 
And I wish to appeal to the entire members of the public to kindly come to the aid of Okobo Atte Primary Health Care Centre in order to save the Lives of the inhabitants of Okobo and its Environs. He said .
