The Governor on Monday joined the Nigerian Military to witness the burial of the slain troopers held on the army cemetery at Wurukum, Makurdi Native Authorities Space of the State.
Ortom, in a funeral oration, additionally expressed condolences with President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief of Military Workers and all the management of the Armed Forces over the loss of life of the troopers, describing the incident as unlucky.
