Confusion arose in Chad Republic, following the claims that the son of Late President Idriss Deby, Mahamat Itno who succeeded his father on Tuesday has been killed.
The report that emerge on social media platforms has gained entry into the Chadian media.
BBC in a report quoted the Chadian media about an alleged taking pictures incident on the presidential palace in N’Djamena, the nation’s capital.
It was alleged that the taking pictures occurred on account of dispute inside the Déby household over the appointment of Mahamat.
However in a collection of tweets, the personal Tchadinfos web site quoted a number of unnamed sources as denying the alleged taking pictures incident.
Tchadifos mentioned, “The president of the Transitional Army Council is alive and nicely. There was by no means any taking pictures on the palace and no quarrels with [Mahamat’s] brother Samaria.”
Nevertheless, Toubou Media cited safety sources who alleged that Mahamat was injured in a shootout sparked by a “divergence inside the household”.
The late Déby had a big household, having married a number of instances, and had an unknown variety of youngsters.
In the meantime, pro-government Alwihda Information web site reported that gunfire was heard in Ati, some 378km (234miles) east of N’Djamena, after prisoners tried to flee.
The web site added that “calm had been restored” after the deployment of extra troops to the area.
