A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Nigerian Ambassador to Burundi, Chief Elijah Onyeagba, has said that irrespective of political affiliation, Governor Willie Obiano has broken a jinx with the construction of Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, Anambra East Local Government.
Ambassador Onyeagba, who was one of the dignitaries that inspected work level at the airport over the weekend, said that the project, when finished, would trigger geometric economic results, and also improve the economic competitiveness of Anambra State among the comity of states.
The diplomat also praised Governor Obiano for pioneering the project, noting that anyone who goes to the site would be left with awe.
He called on Ndi Anambra to give the governor every necessary support to accomplish the airport target.
