Earlier last week, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State and the Vice presidential candidate of the PDP in the last presidential election in the country, commenced a tour of the 21 LGAs of Anambra State, reaching out to the PDP stakeholders and party faithfuls at the grassroot, interfacing with them, ascertaining their immediate challenges and how to solve them holistically.
Dr. Godwin Maduka , the People Democratic Party Governorship Aspirant described the move as an exemplary leadership.
Meanwhile, it was a special day to remember yesterday, being Monday, the 3rd day of May, 2021, when Mr. Obi touched down at Dr. Godwin Maduka’s Local Government area, Orumba South, then Orumba North and Aguata LGAs (the old Aguata). This was in continuation of his tour.
Dr. Maduka’s formidable team was on ground to welcome Okwute Ndigbo, thanked him for his exemplary leadership style personalized by humility and sacrifice which prompted him to personally go round the 21 LGAs familiarizing with the party faithfuls at the grassroots.
Obi, while addressing the party faithfuls, assured them that PDP will win the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial election and will deliver on their ideology that borders on good governance to Ndi Anambra. He also thanked Dr. Maduka and his Campaign Organisation ably led by Hon. MikeJoe Onwudinjo for according him a befitting welcome.
