The Indigenes of Igala Mela Odolu particularly Mr. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, Chief Pharm. Peter Yakubu Iduh and Mr. Marcellinus Ameh express their joy and appreciation over the Idah-Odolu road that has gotten the attention of the Federal Government through the Managing Director of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, (FERMA) Engr. Suleiman Rafindadi, the Kogi State FERMA coordinator Egr Kabiru Iliasu Danmulki. (FERMA Kogi State) Ocheja Andrew Eneojo Supervising Engr on site.
The group appreciate the MD for approving the rehabilitation of the road that links Idah-Odolu Kogi State . The trio visited the The MD recently who reassured them that it was part of their plans to start the work this month May and as at today the work has started to rehabilitate the road which in their request will boast the economic and agricultural activities of the area because the road connect so many communities in Kogi and Enugu State.
This request was taken up by these trio who feel the need to have an access road that links Odolu and Idah, if the road is completed many will benefit a lot from this kind gesture.
They urge the agency to pay more attention to deplorable state of roads in Kogi and the agricultural impact of Kogi to the nation.
