Dr. Godwin Maduka, Anambra State Governorship Aspirant under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was at the epoch-making event yesterday to mark the successful end of Law Week 2021 in Anambra State, the Awka chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
The umbrella body of Awka based legal practitioners converged at Marble Ark Hotel, Okpuno, Awka, where they bestowed on Dr. Godwin Maduka, the Umuchukwu born billionaire Medical Doctor, the Chief Medical Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Las Vegas Pain Institute, USA, the Outstanding Personality award for his outstanding contributions and commitments in humanitarian services.
Addressing the audience at the event yesterday, Dr. Godwin Maduka, also the Anambra PDP gubernatorial candidate hopeful, dedicated the prestigious award to Humanity. He said that all he is doing is to uplift humanity. In his words, “Ndi Anambra nwe m, ekeneemunu ooo! It is a great honour to be given this prestigious award and I dedicate it back to you and to the Judiciary for their contributions in ensuring we achieve Justice in our society, we are all outstanding personalities in our chosen endeavors. I will not relent in my divine quest to continue changing the world around me”.
Earlier in his address, the chairman of the NBA Awka Branch, Cheif Barr Ekene Okonkwo chronicled the strategic roles of the judiciary in our society and extolled the illuminating and sterling qualities cum legacies of Dr. Maduka, which prompted them to bestow on him the prestigious award. He encouraged Dr. Maduka not to rest on his oars in uplifting the humanity.
It is an award well-deserved and in recognition of Dr. Godwin Maduka’s towering profile and accomplishments. Gradually, we will get there!
