Ofante Youth Association ( OYA ) is a strong body that units all the Ofante sons and daughters youths both home and abroad .
The Board of Trustees of Ofante Youth Association ( OYA ) has appointed a renowned social commentator and political strategist Comrade Henry Negedu as the chairman of Ofante Youth Association.
The Chairman board of trustees of the great Association , Chief Hon. Sunday Ekpa who has been working tirelessly for the success of the of the association announced the caretakers committee this evening.
According to Chief Hon. Sunday Ekpa ” The meeting held today 27th of September, 2021 at OKPO and the resolution reached by the stake holders, that Election of the youth be suspended till further notice. Ofante Community Self Help Association (OCSHA) has graciously approved and directed that the Chairman board of trustees should put in place a caretaker committee with immediate effect to oversee the activities of Ofante Youth association till further notice.
The new caretakers committee include :
1) Chairman: Comrade Omachoko Henry Negedu
2) Secretary : Comrade Felix Oguche
3) Treasurer : Comrade Simon Agada
4) Director of Social : Comrade Ebiojo Joy Edache Ayogu
5) Auditor General: Comrade Martha Eke Amos.
This appointment takes immediate effect” .Comrade Henry Negedu, the newest caretaker Chairman of Ofante Youth Association accepted the appointment, as he thanked the stakeholders for finding him and others worthy for the assignment and promised to reposition Ofante Youth Association (OYA) for the good of the community.
According to Comrade Henry Negedu “On behalf of the newly constituted members of the caretaker committee of OYA, I wish to unreservedly thank all the critical and noncritical stakeholders of this noble association for finding us worthy for this assignment. Be rest assured that we will work assiduously to reposition OYA for the good of the community.
The role of vibrant youth in the 21st century can’t be overemphasized in view of the positive roles they play in community development. Its on this note that i call on everyone to close ranks in order to take our community to eldorado.
Ofante belong to all us and as responsible youth of various backgrounds we can’t watch and see things deteriorated owing to personal aggrandizement.
Together we will collectively get there.
