When the urbane rules, people live in ecstasy as his developmental quest behoove them. An urbane ruler can be reffered as a courteous, polite and refined person who has established himself in the outside world but has been hooked by fate and providence to come back to his root to lead his people.
Such persons has already solidified their sways in the course of their engagements with miscellaneous people and men of timber and calibre. People with this trait never jostle to rule, destiny catapult them to the monarchical stool.
HRH. King Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed II, the 4th Ejeh of Ankpa designated fit in this category. He never wanted to become Ejeh but kismet brought him to the throne of his forefathers. Barely a month of his appointment, he went out in search of the basic amenities his people has been lacking for long.
It should be noted that the young monarch has not been coronated, nor given the staff of office, yet he hit the ground running to fast-track the development his people are longing.
King Solo as he’s fondly called by his people is an unusual monarch, he’s a pure opposite of the rustic monarch or the conventional traditional rulers in our rural settings. He’s very young but gifted with influence and affluence, in short, he’s globally connected, this is no doubt the grace the people of Ankpa will relish as he reigns.
Lack of power supply is the number one of the many plights the people of Ankpa has endured in a long while, knowing the pain of his people, King Solo went to the Federal ministry of power last week and discuss with the permanent secretary for the way forward, just on Thursday, the ministry of power send down the delegation to Ankpa for inspection, they went as far as Oturkpo in Benue state to ascertain the rot from the source of Ankpa electricity, they also went to Ajokuta to check the possibility of connecting Ankpa to Ajokuta electrically.
Indeed, this is the manifestation of his wider acceptance by his people. Recall that there was uncommon hilarity and jubilation during the pronouncement of king Sadiq as the New Ejeh, even his homecoming was graced with same gestures by his people.
His homecoming coincided with a rare occurrence, in the geographical terrain of Ankpa, it’s seldom for rain to fall in the mid-November, surprisingly, that happens before king Solo touchdown the land. This rare occurrence is another sign of great blessing to befall the land in the course of the reign of this young king.
To the good people of Ankpa, the reign of HRH King Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed II is the beginning of positivity in the land.
All hail king Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed II (Agaaagwu) the face of a new dawn in Ankpa.
