First and arguably officially Jurgen Klopp landed in Liverpool in 2017 and quickly swing into action. He led the Reds to Champions League final in 2018 and lost it to Real Madrid. He returned into final of the same competition the following year and won it.
So far he has built a solid squad that is the envy of all. It is believed that his team’s defence is the strongest in Europe in the last four season.
Enter Thomas Tuchel. He landed at Stamford Bridge from Paris where he had led PSG to the final of the Champions League in 2020 but lost to Bayern Munich.
Few months after he landed, he led Chelsea to the Champions League final and FA Cup final. He lost the later but won the former which is Europe’s most important trophy in club competitions.
Tuchel has kept Chelsea’s ship sailing safe and smooth. He has injected huge confidence in the team and built a team that is compact.
Now Ralf Rangnick is coming to Old Trafford to take charge of Manchester United.
Obviously, Ragnick was hired because his compatriots are excelling in England. Whether he will succeed like Klopp and Tuchel is a topic for another day….but for now let’s just watch and hope the tactical and technical machine of this German will add value to the beauty of the EPL.
