A kaduna Born preacher and gospeller, Pastor David Ayuba popularly known as Azzaman Azzaman has this morning hailed the newly crowned miss Nigeria who is famous for wearing hijabs.
The clergyman while reacting to the news said, “One thing I like with the Muslims anywhere they are they tell you they are Muslims, they are not ashame of who they are. A Muslim will never copy the
world rather let the world copy them.”
When it comes to we Christains we want to copy the world which the Bible itself told us, Satan is the god of the world 2Cor 4:4 . We take in everything Satan is bringing out in the name of fashion. .Instead of the world to copy us we are the ones copying the world.
Hiding under the saying God searches the heart and not the out Ward appearance. But your appearance can also tell who you. When this young lady was crown Miss Nigeria, what came to my mind is Ladies you don’t have to dress naked exposing all your bodies and curves discharging evil spirits of lust polluting the air before you can win Miss Nigeria or before you can look beautiful.
Now I hardly see our women in wrapper, even if they sew the wrapper they must sew it skin tide to bring out their figure. I hardly see our young men in that tailored trouser and shirt. A woman mustn’t expose her breast, who is she exposing it to I don’t know.
A man must expose his pants in the name of sagging. Why don’t you just remove the pants and walk naked.
I am not saying evil People don’t dress modestly, they do, but the Bible says we should not copy the
world. Rather let us be transformed in our mind. If we are truly born again with the fruit of the spirit even in our dressing it should show. Romans 12:1-2.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that
ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:1-2 HONOR CHRIST
However, Colossians 3:17 applies to all areas of life, including the clothes we wear. “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Pastor Azzaman continues.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3:17 THE WAY YOU DRESS OR LOOK WHO ARE YOU GLORIFYING?
I didn’t say dressing like a Muslim with Hijab that’s dressing decently, what I am saying is let us dress modestly and when you dress , dress to the Glory of Yeshua as pointed out in Colossians 3:17 that we should do everything to the Glory of God, everything means including dressing. Please dress decently and modestly , good morning and have a wonderful Church Service today. He concluded.
