The All Progressives Congress ( APC ) governorship screening committee for Kogi State, headed by former Jigawa State Governor , Ali Sa’ad Birnin-Kudu on Saturday screened 18 governorship aspirants ahead of the April 14th primary election in Kogi State .
The 18 aspirants were screened at Sheraton Hotel Abuja. Including The National Deputy Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Yakubu Murtala Ajaka , the Deputy Governor of Kogi State , the Accountant General of Kogi State , the Auditor General of Kogi State , the Chief of Staff to the Governor and others .
Speaking to Naija Reality News reporter shortly after the screening, Hon. Muritala Ajaka said his relationship with Kogi State sons and daughters in the past many years will guarantee his victory come November 11th Governorship Election in Kogi State.
According to him ” I have been with my Kogi people for long to the extent that my name is now household name in the mouth of all Kogites . Let me say this, my contributions to our great party ( All Progressive Congress ) as I speak today is enough for me to win the primary in the party and to win the election come November 11th . “
“I have been very much involved in the party activities right from day one . I’m not a novice when it comes to the issue of party. If my contributions speaks for me, that is good and fine.”
