In order to promote development and inclusivity in Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on Monday inspected the ongoing school project for the Fulani community in Osara, Adavi Local Government Area.
The lawmaker, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, expressed her commitment to attracting more projects to the area, stating, “We will continue to attract more projects here because we love you and want the best for you.” This statement underscores her dedication to improving the lives of her constituents.
The Fulani community, represented by Chairman of Miyetti Allah in Okehi Local Government, Aliyu Abubakar, expressed gratitude for the project. Abubakar highlighted the benefits of having a school and clinic within their neighborhood, noting that the clinic will alleviate the stress of transporting women in labor and sick community members to distant hospitals.
Furthermore, the borehole drilled at the site has already improved access to clean water for the women, a significant step towards enhancing their quality of life.
