The Kogi East Unity Forum, a leading socio-political advocacy group committed to the unity and development of Kogi East Senatorial District paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of G1 Group, Alhaji Prince Gowon Enenche at his Abuja office today.

The delegation which comprised prominent members of the Forum including elders, youth representatives, women leaders, and political stakeholders, was led by the Forum’s Convener, Chief Benjamin Onoja. The visit was in recognition and appreciation of Alhaji Enenche’s steady support and personal presence at the Forum’s recent unity gathering held in Abuja , an event that drew widespread acclaim for its inclusivity and message of collective progress.
During the meeting, the Forum commended Alhaji Enenche for his outstanding contributions to the cause of unity, peacebuilding, and economic empowerment across Kogi East and beyond. Chief Onoja, while speaking on behalf of the delegation, described the G1 Group Chairman as “a beacon of hope and a bridge-builder whose leadership has continued to inspire a generation of progress-minded Kogi indigenes.”
“We are here not just to say thank you,” Chief Onoja remarked, “but also to reinforce our commitment to working with like-minded leaders like Alhaji Prince Gowon Enenche to foster a new era of unity and purposeful development in our senatorial district. His presence at our recent event was not only symbolic but also deeply encouraging.”
Alhaji Enenche, in his warm response, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the gesture and reiterated his belief in the collective strength of the Igala/Bassa people. He commended the Forum for their vision and tenacity in promoting regional cohesion, noting that the future of Kogi East rests in the hands of those willing to rise above political, ethnic, and generational divides.
“The unity of Kogi East is not negotiable,” Alhaji Enenche emphasized. “We must continue to bridge our differences and harness our collective energy for the progress of our people. I see in this Forum a reflection of that ideal — a united front focused not on division but on inclusion, empowerment, and the shared prosperity of our communities.”
The visit also provided an opportunity for private deliberations on ways to consolidate the unity movement in Kogi East, including future engagements, mentorship programs for youth, and collaborative projects aimed at economic development and political inclusion.
Also present at the meeting were Hon. Martha Edime, the Forum’s Women Affairs Director; Comrade Yakubu Attah, Youth Leader; Mr. Joseph Idu, Secretary-General of the Forum; and several other members of the G1 Group executive team.
As the meeting ended on a cordial and optimistic note, both parties pledged to maintain open lines of communication and continue to support initiatives that advance the collective interest of Kogi East Senatorial District.
The visit marks another milestone in the Forum’s ongoing efforts to unite Kogi East stakeholders under a common agenda of peace, progress, and political relevance ahead of critical future engagements and electoral cycles in the state.
