The CEO of Sanan Real Home, Alhaji Dr. Sanusi Abdul Sanusi has strongly condemned the recent horrific killing of a young man in Ankpa Local Government Area whose life was brutally taken and head severed in a shocking act of violence that has left the community in deep grief and outrage.

In a solemn statement released to journalists on Friday, Dr. Sanusi described the barbaric act as “an assault on humanity, the sanctity of life and the peace of the community.” He expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, describing the incident as “not only a personal loss to the victim’s loved ones but a collective wound to the conscience of Ankpa and Kogi State at large.”

“This is a despicable and unacceptable crime,” Dr. Sanusi declared. “It is unthinkable that in this day and age, human life can be taken in such a cold-blooded and dehumanizing manner. We must all unite as individuals, as communities and as a state to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice without delay.”

Calling for an urgent and thorough investigation, the respected businessman and philanthropist urged all security agencies including the police, DSS and other relevant authorities to deploy every resource available to track, arrest and prosecute the killers. He emphasized that allowing such a crime to go unpunished would embolden other criminal elements and deepen the atmosphere of fear in the area.

Dr. Sanusi further appealed to residents to break the culture of silence and provide credible information to law enforcement agencies, assuring that their safety would be protected. “No one should shield murderers,” he stressed. “Keeping quiet in the face of such an atrocity is as dangerous as committing the act itself. We must protect our community by ensuring evil is exposed and defeated.”

The Sanan Real Home boss also called on traditional rulers, religious leaders and youth groups to work hand-in-hand with security agencies in building intelligence networks capable of forestalling further violence.

The killing has sparked widespread condemnation from across Kogi State with many residents demanding urgent action to curb rising insecurity in the Ankpa axis.

As investigations begin, the community continues to mourn a young life cut short in the most brutal way.

Dr. Sanusi warned that, justice delayed is justice denied.
