Ankpa, Kogi State– In a bold move to strengthen democratic participation and ensure no eligible citizen is left behind in the electoral process, Prince Gowon Enenche, popularly known as G-One, the Chief Executive Officer of G1 Homes and Properties has flagged off a special initiative tagged “G–One Bringing Voters Registration To Your Doorstep.”
The exercise which is being sponsored by Prince Gowon Enenche, covers the entire 34 wards in Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, making it one of the most comprehensive grassroots voter mobilization efforts in recent times. The programme is designed to ease the challenges faced by many rural dwellers in accessing INEC offices or registration centers, by bringing the exercise closer to their communities.
Speaking on behalf of Prince Enenche, his representative, Mr. Michael Samuel Idoko explained that the project is structured to cover every ward in the federal constituency with dedicated supervisors coordinating activities in each local government. According to him, “the registration exercise will cover the whole 34 wards in Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, and each Local Government will have a supervisor to ensure smooth coordination.”
This grassroots-focused strategy underscores G-One’s firm commitment to bridging the gap between the electorate and governance by empowering citizens to exercise their civic responsibility.
Supervisors Announced for the Three Local Governments.
To ensure the smooth execution of the programme, supervisors have been appointed in each of the three local governments:
Ankpa Local Government will be supervised by Mr. Haruna Abdulwahab (Phone: 08163857382).
Omala Local Government will be supervised by Mr. Odaudu Ojonimi (Phone: 08035618616).
Olamaboro Local Government will be supervised by Mr. Faruk Omachoko Musa (Phone: 07012098984).
These supervisors will serve as contact persons for residents across the wards, ensuring proper mobilization, guidance, and logistics throughout the registration exercise.
By sponsoring this initiative, Prince Gowon Enenche is not only easing the burden of registration but also fostering inclusivity in the political process. The initiative will particularly benefit first-time voters, rural women, and youths, many of whom often face barriers such as distance, cost of transportation, or lack of awareness.
Observers say that with such bold interventions, the political consciousness in the constituency is expected to rise significantly, as thousands of eligible voters will be empowered to secure their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.
Prince Gowon Enenche, who has consistently shown passion for grassroots development through philanthropy, youth empowerment, and community-building initiatives, believes that democracy can only thrive when the people are fully involved. Sponsoring voter registration is another demonstration of his belief that leadership begins with access and participation.
Community leaders and stakeholders have lauded the effort, describing it as timely and people-oriented. They noted that the project reflects a visionary approach to leadership that prioritizes the political rights and voices of ordinary citizens.
The ongoing exercise is expected to leave a lasting impact in Ankpa, Omala, and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, ensuring that thousands of people who might have been disenfranchised are now given the opportunity to participate in shaping the future of their communities.
With “G–One Bringing Voters Registration To Your Doorstep”, Prince Gowon Enenche has once again etched his name in the hearts of his people as a leader who not only dreams but acts.
