Professor Amupitan, aged 58, hails from Ayetoro Gbede, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State. He is a distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Jos, Plateau State, and a proud alumnus of the same institution where he obtained his academic laurels.
A renowned legal scholar and Senior Advocate of Nigeria since September 2014, Professor Amupitan brings to the nation’s electoral body a wealth of experience in Company Law, Law of Evidence, Corporate Governance, and Privatisation Law.
