President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reportedly approved the removal of Jarret Tenebe as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State.

According to reliable sources, the decision was reached during a closed-door meeting in Abuja, where President Tinubu reaffirmed that the APC was founded on loyalty, unity, and mutual respect for leadership hierarchy.
Tinubu was quoted as emphasizing that “any individual who exhibits blatant disrespect toward elders, especially serving ministers of the Federal Republic, has no business occupying a sensitive position within the party.”
The APC state convention has been officially scheduled for December 20th, where Tenebe’s removal will be formally ratified and new leadership will emerge to steer the party’s affairs in Edo State.
Meanwhile, inside sources within the party disclosed that Jarret Tenebe has been reaching out frantically to party leaders across the country, allegedly pleading for intervention and seeking reconciliation with Senator Amunike, whom he was accused of disrespecting in recent weeks.
Party insiders say the development underscores President Tinubu’s firm stance on discipline, party ethics, and the supremacy of respect for constituted authority as the 2024 Edo Governorship race gathers momentum.
