Murtala Ajaka Hails President Tinubu’s Choice, Congratulates Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) on Nomination as INEC Chairman

Prominent Kogi-born politician and former governorship candidate, Alhaji Yakubu Murtala Ajaka, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) on his nomination by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a statement released on Thursday, Murtala Ajaka described Professor Amupitan as “one of the finest and most distinguished minds from Kogi State,” noting that his nomination represents a profound acknowledgment of competence, merit, and regional inclusiveness in national leadership appointments.
