Today, the ancient Ankpa land radiates with joy and gratitude as it marks a remarkable milestone — the fourth anniversary of the ascension of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Yakubu, the Ejeh of Ankpa and Chairman, Ankpa Traditional Council. This historic celebration goes beyond festivity; it is a tribute to leadership, peace, and the enduring legacy of a royal institution deeply rooted in culture and progress.
Over the past four years, the reign of His Royal Majesty has been defined by wisdom, unity, and forward-looking leadership. Since ascending the revered throne of his forefathers, the Ejeh has led with humility and purpose, preserving the rich cultural heritage of Ankpa while steering the kingdom toward modernization and inclusive development.
In a message of felicitation, Alhaji Prince Yakub Yakub, Ph.D., the Galadima of Ankpa Kingdom, conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the Ejeh and the entire people of Ankpa, describing the monarch’s reign as a season of peace and transformation. According to him, the Ejeh’s devotion to service and his efforts in promoting the welfare of his people have strengthened the traditional institution and brought honor to the land.
