A renowned philanthropist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Ogwu James Onoja, Ph.D, FCArb, SAN has admonished the Muslim Ummah to imbibe the spirits of godliness, charity, sacrifice, and spiritual intercession for the nation at all times.
Chief Ogwu James Onoja made this call today in Ofante Ogugu, Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State. He argues that this is a moment to share love, peace and promote unity amongst ourselves, irrespective of our political and religious differences.
In the goodwill message issued to celebrate Muslim brotherhood, he further urged his countrymen and women, especially the inhabitants of Kogi State, where he hails, to always promote acts that enhance national integration and brotherhood.
He said Eid-el-Kabir honours the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son to show submission to Allah’s command, urging Muslims to extend the noble virtues of piety, perseverance, philanthropy, respect, and love for one another.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) called for increased prayers for an end to the recurring security challenges in the country, tasking Muslims and adherents of other faiths to always demonstrate love and understanding towards one another in the quest for a greater and more prosperous Kogi State and Nigeria.
