A former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has this evening debunked news making round the he was trapped, arrested and detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), following an alleged 4.7 billion Naira fraud.
The embattled Minister who recently joined the All Progressive Congress, has been in the news in recent weeks for the wrong reasons as many news outlets account for his alleged fraudulent act during his days as the Minister of Aviation.
According to the earlier report, the former minster was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, but the minster has come planely to debunked the news making round in strong terms.
Femi Fani Kayode via his Facebook page was quoted as saying, “Once again I was invited to the EFCC today. Once again, despite media reports, I was NOT arrested but invited. I got there at 11.00am and I have just been released. Thanks be to God!”
